The Protocol of Peace

FILM
The Protocol of Peace is a rigorous, 43-minute narrative and conceptual contemporary art feature film that investigates the moral failures and psychological costs of the protocols we create to manage the suppression of truth and the maintenance of silence. Structured as a tapestry of monologues spoken over poetic and contained found footage, the film’s impactful storyline follows a narrator’s journey from a childhood lie to an adult act of conscience, revealing the hidden mechanisms of institutional violence. Focusing on the concept of “unlisted death”—those lives and truths erased by the cold gears of the state and social protocol—the film navigates the dark shadow of American power and refuses to offer a comfortable or hopeful resolution.
