Les Recommencements (The Recommencements) – Al Moon, a Vietnam War veteran, lives alone on his tribe’s land in Northern California. As violence and ecological destruction ravage the reservation, old anxieties resurface. Al has no choice but to hit the road to confront what torments him and reunite with the men of his battalion. Each encounter along the way reveals a divided country grappling with its own wounds, a haunting reflection of his own inner turmoil. Old demons reappear like ghosts… Confronting the truth is the hardest test of all.
